Since July 1, 2021, a change in the roaming regime – RLAH (Roam Like At Home) – has been applied, meaning that roaming conditions are the same as in your home network. RLAH applies between the Western Balkans countries (WB6) and includes: Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and Kosovo.
For full protection from charges, you can activate a mobile internet roaming package, which ensures complete protection from unexpected costs. Additionally, if you do not want to use mobile internet while roaming, you can activate the “Ban on internet roaming” through the Mojot A1 mobile application.

All traffic via Viber and FB Messenger is charged as internet data usage. This means that if you use these apps while connected to WiFi, there is no additional charge. However, if you use mobile internet, the charges will apply according to the mobile internet rates of the roaming partner you are connected to at that time.

Internet roaming is a basic option that is active/enabled when your subscription number is activated. Free activation and deactivation of the “Internet roaming” service can be done through the Mojot A1 application. For full control over roaming costs, you can also activate a mobile internet roaming package.
If you receive a notification that you have reached 1,000 MKD including VAT for internet used in roaming, without any discounts applied and with access to internet roaming suspended, this means that if you are not using an internet roaming package, your internet usage abroad has been charged at the regular rates of the operator in the country you are connected to.
If you reply to the message with START ROAMING to the number 140999, you agree to continue using internet roaming at regular rates.
If you are using an internet roaming package, set your device to manual network selection, choose the operator to which your package applies, and then reply with START INTERNET to 140362 to continue using the internet roaming service.

You can also activate the internet roaming ban by calling the A1 Contact Center at 0771234 or visiting an A1 sales store. The service is charged 90 MKD once, including VAT.
