You can purchase a new A1 Prepaid SIM card at all A1 retail stores, as well as in smaller markets marked with the A1 logo, gas stations, and kiosks.
As a new A1 Prepaid customer, you additionally receive:
- Unlimited calls to all national networks;
- Unlimited national internet
* Fair usage policy for internet of 150GB
The included unlimited national calls and unlimited national internet upon initial activation are valid for the first week from activation.
After the expiration of this period, the bi-weekly package No Limit M with unlimited national calls and unlimited national internet will be automatically activated for a fee of 599 MKD.
This will happen only if the user has sufficient credit on the account for reactivation of this package, for which the user will be notified via SMS one day before the end of the first week from activation or one day before the package expires.

In addition to this method, registration can also be done in the following ways:
- at any A1 Macedonia DOOEL Skopje retail location marked with the A1 brand;
- by replying to received SMS messages from number 140 150; or
- by sending an SMS message with the content REG to 140 150.
Registration of a prepaid number for foreign nationals is carried out exclusively at A1 Macedonia retail locations by presenting a valid personal identification document (passport).
The initial validity for a new prepaid SIM card is 365 days + 90 days grace period (the grace period is a status the card receives if credit is not topped up before the card’s validity expires).
With each subsequent top-up of credit on your prepaid account, its validity is extended as follows:
- with a top-up of MKD 100, the validity is extended by 90 days;
- with a top-up of MKD 101–499, the validity is extended by 180 days; and
- with a top-up of MKD 500 or more, the validity is extended by 365 days.
The grace period is a status the card receives if credit is not topped up before the card’s validity expires. When the number is in the grace period, the user cannot receive incoming calls, make outgoing calls, and loses any remaining credit if available. To reactivate calls in both directions, it is necessary to top up at least MKD 100.
The balance of your prepaid account can be checked in the following ways:
- Through „Mojot A1“, where your prepaid account balance is displayed on the home screen;
- By entering the code *101# and pressing the call button; or
- By calling 1770, selecting option 1, after which you will hear a notification about your current account balance and its validity.
Online top-up of the prepaid account can be done in several ways:
- via our website at the following link: www.a1.mk/nadopolni-kredit, the process is simple, just follow the steps;
- via the „Mojot A1“ service (mobile app or web portal) – in the menu, there is the “transfer credit” service where you need to enter the required information in the fields and press “send.” You can top up from MKD 100 up to MKD 1,000 using Master, Maestro, and Visa payment cards.

Yes, you can, through an A1 e-voucher available at our retail stores, A1 partner locations, and kiosks – simply choose any amount between 100 and 1,000 MKD and visit one of the sales points that enable top-up with an A1 e-voucher.
You can also top up your prepaid account in the following ways:
- With an A1 paper voucher – available in different amounts of 100, 200, 300, 500, and 1,000 MKD. To redeem it, call 1770, select option 2 for top-up, and then enter the 14-digit voucher code. Confirm by pressing #. Alternatively, you can use the USSD code → *100#voucher code# and then press the call button (Example: *100#12345678912345#).
- Via ATMs of Tutunska Banka and Stopanska Banka – all you need is a card from any bank, follow the simple steps for topping up your account displayed on the ATM, and recharge your A1 prepaid account with an amount between 100 and 1,000 MKD.
Yes, via the “credit transfer” service by sending a free SMS message from an A1 postpaid number to 1443 with the content “DOPOLNI” followed by the A1 prepaid user’s number (07X XXX XXX) and the credit amount XXX you wish to transfer (minimum MKD 100 and maximum MKD 300 per top-up).
(Example: to transfer MKD 300 to number 077123456, the SMS message should look like this: DOPOLNI 077123456 300).
The service is charged MKD 9.9 on the next invoice of the postpaid number.
If the number on the paper voucher is damaged, you need to present it at the nearest A1 store or send a photo of the damaged voucher via email to kontakt@A1.mk.
