eSIM has the same features as regular physical SIM cards, with the only novelty being the activation QR code. When activating your eSIM, there is no need to enter your PIN, you are only required to scan the activation QR code.

eSIM’s internal memory also allows storage of contacts just like physical SIM cards do; however bear in mind that deleting the eSIM profile from the device also deletes all data stored on the eSIM.

When switching from a physical SIM to an eSIM card, all contacts must be stored on a Google, IOS or similar account.
